Hawk-3 Talent Solutions are pleased to be recruiting for a Field Based Role throughout Birmingham and the whole of the West Midlands for Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for our well known, highly respected client.

This role as a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment including repairs of split Systems, VRV VRF Systems and heat pumps as well as work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets or ice machines. You will have the opportunity to work with numerous manufacturers and learn their skills and procedures. It is desirable that you understand instillation designs and be comfortable seeking manufacturers technical support and their trouble shooting procedures.

For this job as a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be covering B and WS postcodes, with his being a mobile role you will need to have full current driving licence and be willing to participate in an on call rota. You'll be capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces. Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA). You'll need to be highly self-motivated, and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team. 

You will be provided with a high amount of training to reflect the skills needed for this role, ideally you will already have or be working towards relevant qualifications such as: time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.
