Job description

We are hiring for an experienced Compliance / Legal / Insurance Office Administrator. Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is hiring on behalf of their client for a Compliance Administrator to work based in Sherborne, Dorset. You would be joining a fun & smaller administration team in a family-run business. You would support the finance, insurance, and HR manager with their office duties making this a varied office role. 


The hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5.15 pm. The annual salary is £32,000 PA DOE.

We are looking for an experienced Compliance / Legal / Insurance Office Administrator to join our client’s team on a full-time basis to provide administration support to both the Insurance and HR Officer. You must be prepared to work in the office 5 days a week.

Your role will be varied, but your main priority is to assist your line manager and Insurance Officer to ensure that the requirements of their clients including claims and renewals are met accurately and timely. You will spend the remainder of your time on other administrative tasks such as property maintenance, office administration and staff-related matters such as recording of annual leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining spreadsheet records of insurance information, policy costings and premium splits.
  • Checking quotations and policy documentation received from our brokers.
  • Liaising with both our internal teams and external brokers, by email and telephone.
  • Maintaining paper and electronic records of insurance cover.
  • Administer family and staff driving compliance.
  • Building, plant and equipment maintenance including fire, security and electrical compliance.


Experience, attributes & skills sought:

  • Has a minimum of 3 years of proven administration experience in a professional legal, insurance or compliance working environment. Practical knowledge of corporate and personal insurance is highly advantageous.
