Management Accountant

I am currently representing an experienced Management Accountant who is based in York and looking for their next role.

• Salary expectation £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
• Part CIMA
• Lives locally in York
• Skilled in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Providing financial reporting and analysis, with a continuous focus on process improvement.
• A former international graduate from the University of York and Essex,
• Fluent in three languages, and currently studying towards CIMA qualifications.
• In charge of producing the monthly management accounts along with all month end journals.
• Providing a monthly analysis of the accounts and any budgets variances, to produce a narrative for the senior leadership team and budget holders
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register.
• Successfully automated the process for our monthly intercompany account reconciliations, reducing the time spent on the process and errors between companies
• Conducting the annual budget and reforecast meetings with all budget holders, to set financial budgets to be approved by SLT and Trustees
• Line-manage two finance assistants, coordinating the daily finance function and as well as the annual audit.
